Our association was established to promote closer cooperation with English education research organizations in Osaka Prefecture and to improve research on English education at junior high schools.
Greetings from Representative
My name is Kiyoshi NOBUTA. I am the president of OSAKA English Teachers' Association of Junior High School (OETA) since 2022.
The organization was established over 50-years-ago and is operated in close cooperation with all junior high school English teachers in Osaka, both public and private, in order to promote English education and enhance teaching skills.
This year, we have not only utilized e-mail for information sharing but have also made use of business chat tools and renewed our website in order to make the study group more suitable for the recent GIGA school project in Japan. In addition, we are in the process of establishing a "presentation section" for English recitation contests, which has a history of more than half a century, starting from the next academic year, FY2023.
These reforms can only be made possible because of the extraordinary enthusiasm of the executive board members and permanent directors of this division who possess the vision to "enliven English education in Osaka Prefecture." This enthusiasm is further supported by the enthusiasm of every English teacher who is a member of the association.
We will continue to promote our activities to become an organization that embodies the enthusiasm of every one of you. We look forward to your continued support of our association.
